Envisioned by the Nestlé Company as the “Factory of the Future”—nurturing technology, people, and the environment—the Nestlé Tanauan Factory is the country’s fifth facility under Nestlé and is considered to be among the company’s most advanced facilities worldwide. Located inside the First Philippine Industrial Park in Tanauan, Sto. Tomas, Batangas, the Nestlé Tanauan Factory is situated within a 28-hectare land development that includes a Non-Dairy Creamer (Coffeemate) Plant with a production output of 10-tons/hour, a Bear Brand Milk Factory, and a Nescafe Coffee Factory.
For this project, DCCD was responsible for the project’s quantity surveying/cost management as well as safety and construction management which covered civil/structural works, architectural/ID fit-out works, electro-mechanical system works, sanitary/plumbing system works, fire and yard protection system works, as well as auxiliary system works (including automation). Engineering services for this project were completed in 2013.
