Designed to treat wastewater coming from 9 barangays in Parañaque City, the proposed Parañaque Water Reclamation Facility 1 boasts of a designed capacity of 76,000 m3/d, which can be upgraded to 95,000 m3/d if and when the need arises in the future. With engineering services to be completed in 2018, DCCD provided Original Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. (OEC) of Japan full technical support services for the detailed engineering design of the sewage conveyance system, procurement services to engage construction contractors, as well as construction management services for both the conveyance system and wastewater treatment facility.
