As part of the sewerage and sanitation program of Maynilad, a proposal was made for the installation of a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in the vicinity of the Maricaban Pond in Pasay City. With engineering services to be completed in 2018, DCCD was engaged to provide Original Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. (OEC) of Japan with technical support for the planning and detailed engineering design of the conveyance system, as well as handle construction management services for the project.
