Located in Brgy. Buanoy, Balamban, Cebu, Linde Philippines (South), Inc. (LPSI) is an industrial establishment built in partnership with Southern Industrial Gases (SIG), Incorporated and The Linde Group of Germany. With a land area of 10,000 sq.m., it is currently occupied by tanks, an administration building, a utility building, a plant building, and other outdoor equipment. Its main products are oxygen, nitrogen, and argon as a result of air separation processes. The Oxygen tank has a capacity of 250 CBM, while the Nitrogen and Argon tanks have a capacity of 75 CBM and 6 CBM, respectively. The plant was built to cater to the increasing demands of said products in the industrial, commercial, and healthcare industries in and around Metro Cebu, as well as neighboring cities and provinces in the Visayas region.The ship building plant located within the Cebu Industrial Park Developers, Inc. (CIPDI) area is also a main client of SIG.
DCCD provided the complete architectural design for all the buildings, along with engineering design services for the structural, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, sanitary/plumbing, and site development of the project. The plant has been in operation since May 2010.
