In celebration of its 60th Anniversary Celebration, DCCD Engineering Corporation had a Sports Festival which saw its five (5) divisions compete in six (6) events – basketball, bowling, chess, darts, table tennis and badminton. For almost six (6) months of action, DCCD employees competed in the said events which aimed to foster camaraderie and promote physical wellness.
The Sportsfest officially opened last 24 February 2017 at The Zone, Malugay
Street, Makati. The Basketball Tournament kicked-off the festivities with a double-header at the said venue. From thereon, the other sporting events commenced.
The Bowling Tournament was held at Superbowl Makati Square. The Badminton Tournament was held at Planet Badminton, J. Victor Street, Makati. The Chess, Darts and Table Tennis Tournaments were played at the DCCD Head Office.
Individual and Team Awards will be handed out during the Employees & Stockholders Night on 27 October 2017 at Okada Manila, which is the culminating spectacle of DCCD’s Anniversary Celebration.
