Project Descriptions

Covering 244 ha and located 16 km south of Manila adjacent to the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and Ayala Alabang Village, the project was designed to provide an urban center for Filinvest, providing economic viability as well as contributing to social responsibility. Serving as an alternative site for commercial and retail businesses seeking a less congested working environment, as well as a well-balanced social and recreational amenity for its customers, the project complements while simultaneously competes with the progress and development taking place in Makati and other parts of Metro Manila. With engineering services completed in 1996, Filinvest City today is a thriving central business district and a diverse, urban getaway. Inspiring possibilities, it is a master planned place of convergence and modernity.

Optimizing the topography of the project, a 5,000 cum capacity underground, concrete water reservoir was constructed at the elevated portion of the western boundary of the project, providing adequate water supply and reliable system pressure.

DCCD’s involvement included the detailed engineering design of the project’s roads/pavements and below surface utilities—drainage system, water distribution system, sewerage collection, and treatment/discharge systems. In addition, DCCD also conducted an environmental impact assessment.
