DCCD was responsible for the detailed engineering design of the architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, and sanitary aspects of the MRT 3 Depot, which is located underneath Trinoma Mall. Engineering services for the project were completed in 1998.
DCCD was also involved in the LRT 2 depot project located along Marcos Highway; the LRT 2 depot served as the transit’s maintenance and stabling facility. For this project, DCCD came up with the detailed structural engineering design for the maintenance building, cafeteria, gatehouse and fence, retaining walls, floodlighting poles, and other auxiliary buildings, as well as the design for the storm water and sewer drainage system, fire fighting system, potable water system, and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system along with maintenance shops, administration offices, and other auxiliary buildings. Engineering services were completed in 2001.
